Bacteria

Bacteria can be used to control the breakdown of nitrogen by the fish. How much bacteria varies with what the bottle says to put in along with what days to put it in. Throughout the school year, we will be lowering our amount of our bacteria with what the bottle says.

When the trout get into the Fry Stage you use a vacuum to clean off the rocks and eliminate bacteria in the aquarium. This will reduce the chance of water imbalance which can cause algae bloom and cause the death of some trout.
